Rumina Shima

I am a first-year master student in the Department of Biological and Pharmaceutical Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Toyama Prefectural University. Under the guidance by Prof. Murakami, I am working on the pharmacokinetics and biodistribution of genetically engineered high-density lipoprotein (HDL) nanoparticles in zebrafishes. My research interest is the development of the photodynamic therapy for age-related macular degeneration with actively targeted nanoparticles.
